Finished up demonstrations today!!!!  We also learned about some diseases in each of our species.  Brucellosis and Scrapies.  Planning on working on record books next week along with our Community Service project!!! Hope everyone has a fabulous 4th of July!!!!

Another great meeting!!!  So glad that Loni is here, she is doing great with her calf.  All projects are doing great.  Jessica's lamb prolapsed again so another trip to the vet, on the good side she is already 107 lbs so no worries about making weight.  All of the members have been working with their animals. Yay!!  We talked about our Community Service project and tentatively talked about next Friday to paint the picnic tables in at the fair grounds.  Until next week keep on working hard.

We had a great meeting yesterday, Kyle and Waid both gave great demonstrations!!  These kids are really doing a superb job with their demonstrations.  We also talked about Average Daily Gain and how to figure out how much a pound costs to put on your animal.  We are looking forward to Loni Bingham being here and for Jake, Vance, & Rylee's demonstrations next week.

Dairy Heifer & Lamb Weigh-In

Weigh-in was a success!! All of our lambs weighed in at good weights, & Waid & Seth's heifers look great.  Thanks to Uncle Dick for bringing  Waid & Seth to the weigh-in while older brother Jacob was running at the State Track Meet in Boise.

School is out & 4-H has begun!!

Dietrich School is out for the summer, & now it is time to get busy with 4-H.  Saturday, May 21st, Dairy Heifer & Market Lamb Weigh-in at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds.  Next Monday at 10:00 am will be our first meeting.  Time to elect officers and enjoy our summer!!
